The Richmond Post Office is participating in Passport Day in the USA on Saturday.

Special information and assistance for passport applicants will be available 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the post office, 400 N. A St. in Richmond.

Passports are necessary for U.S. citizens when entering or re-entering the United States by air.

U.S. citizens entering the U.S. from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports must present a passport book or card or other government-approved travel documents.
